2025 Bennington M Series

Our roundup for the 2025 model year begins not with a new model, but an entire new model line from Bennington: the M Series. The M Series was designed to deliver a higher level of customization to the pontoon world, along with maximum luxury and a major injection of modern tech. The design is also focused on delivering effortless organization, with dedicated spaces designed in for everyday items like towels, coolers, and gear bags.
A major perk is the extended aft deck, offering more deck-level space aft of the furniture. Another is the standard Vivid UX display system, a seven-inch main display with a digital 12-button control touchpad. When you want to control any system from the stereo to the bilge pumps, it's all with the swipe of a finger.

2025 Sun Tracker Party Barge 24 DLX

The Party Barge 24 once offered a lot of LOA for the cost, but Sun Tracker stopped offering the Party Barge 24 DLX for a while. The 24 had become the Sportfish 24 XP3, a tri-toon model with fishing features like a 7’6″ rodbox, a 16-gallon livewell, rod and tool holders, and fishing chairs. Then last year they brought the 24 DLX back in a new and improved form. For 2025, the boat now comes stock with a 150-hp Mercury outboard a huge list of standard features ranging from a four-speaker Wet Sounds Bluetooth stereo system, to a touchscreen guage display, to a Bimini top with LED lighting built in.
One real standout feature of the Party Barge 24 DLX is the backing Sun Tracker provides for it. The boat has a 10-year, bow-to-stern warranty coupled with a limited lifetime structural warranty. That's incredibly good factory-backed coverage in the boating world. Now for the shocker: in 2025 you can buy this 24-footer for about the price of an average new car.

2025 Harris Crowne 250

The Harris Crowne 250 benefitted from a major redesign last year, which resulted in a sleeker, more modern fiberglass exterior and interior furnishings designed to enhance both form and function. It now offers features like wireless charging, sit-through suspension seating, and a "Zero G" lounger with electrically adjusted backrest and leg supports. The Crowne 250 got a new tech injection, too, now boasting dual 12" Simrad NSX touchscreen displays at the helm, engine connectivity, and RGB lighting with smart controls.
The Crowne 250 was introduced at the 2024 Minneapolis Boat Show, where it made quite a splash. In fact, judges for the NMMA Innovations Awards found it so impressive, they gave it an award for being the most innovative new pontoon boat at the show. And as we move into the 2025 model year this remains a top pick for luxury and high-tech quality in a pontoon boat.

2025 Manitou Cruise 22 Max Switchback

Manitou is the only builder to equip its boats with the Rotax S engine, a sort of cross between an outboard design and a stern drive orientation, which allows it to utilize what they call the MAX Deck. The Rotax S is oriented horizontally instead of vertically, lowering the motor's profile enough to add a huge extended swim platform to the stern. For 2025 Manitou is offering the Cruise 22 Max in a twin-tube package. The model also boasts a slick exterior wall design with formed aluminum panels, Switchback loungers which flip between facing forward and facing aft, and upholstery with Simtex soft vinyls.
Note that having the Rotax S power option also lowers engine noise to improve the boating experience, and reduces emissions by 12-percent. It doesn't require oil changes, there's no break-in period, and also offers one-touch winterization.

2025 Tahoe 25 Grand Tahoe Quad Lounge Windshield

Tahoe’s 25 Grand Tahoe QL Windshield impressed us with its combination of the conventional and modern, mixed with sporty yet relaxing. The former is found in what appears to be a traditional fence enclosure, but upon closer inspection is revealed to be sleek painted aluminum panels with sculpted lines, seamlessly blending into fiberglass modules aft. It’s a combo paired with a fiberglass day-boat trait, a wraparound windshield spread across dual consoles that offers welcome protection from the elements underway. A helm complete with multiple touchscreen displays, plush couches lining the perimeter, and Tahoe’s trademark ventilated, aluminum-framed seat bases round out interior offerings. Interior and exterior multi-color RBG lights are programmable. Below, the Waveglider Performance Package includes triple 27” pontoons with extruded lifting fins featuring a cupped design to reduce drag, plane higher on the water and deliver a fast, smooth ride.

2025 Barletta Cabrio 24 Ultra Entertainer

Barletta's Cabrio 24 Ultra Entertainer is another model that carries over from previous year picks, because it certainly lives up to its name. A high-topped table, dual swivel stools, and adjacent bench port of the helm are this vessel's center point, providing ample space for conversation and play. Chaise-lounge style seating can be found forward, concealing a stow-away table and quickly accessible additional stowage compartments. The 24 Ultra Entertainer's most sought-out spot, though, might be its one-of-a-kind Ultra-Lounge. Found at the stern, the Ultra-Lounge offers five different seating positions to relax in.
Barletta offers a wide array of optional extras that allow owners to customize the boat to their needs. Some of our top picks are the exterior lighting package, an ottoman with a built-in cooler and storage, a pop-up changing room in place of the chaise table, and a table with "Yeti-Ready" cup holders. For those interested in watersports, a tow bar is an option extra to consider.

2024 Starcraft CX 25 DL Bar

Pontoons with actual “belly up to the” bars have been done before, but the emphasis on the cocktail in cocktail cruise often results in losing precious interior space when it’s not party time. Starcraft’s CX 25 DL Bar manages to offer up the best of both worlds. Aft, it features what looks like the familiar setup of stern bench backed by large, inviting sunbed. But pull up to the dock or sandbar, lift each half of that divided pad upwards toward the centerline, and voila - up pops a bar, with faux-granite countertop and six oversized cupholders. Rail-mounted stools are ready to be popped into a pair of floor mounts on port and starboard sides. When cocktail hour is done, lower the bar back into position and relax on the sunbed, or one of the multiple lounges surrounding the perimeter. If it's always party time on your pontoon boat this one will be tough to top.

2025 Sea-Doo Switch Cruise Limited

Sea-Doo managed to send waves through the pontooning world when they launched the Switch, the manufacturer's first pontoon. They expanded the lineup with the Switch Cruise Limited last year. This version of the Switch carries a 1630 Rotax 230-hp engine, comes in Caribbean Blue with special badging, trim, flooring, and seating. It also has a 10.25" glass helm integrating the onboard tech with a seven-inch Garmin GPS. It also boasts a new captain's chair with folding arm rests and an adjustable pedestal.
Sea-Doo's history as a PWC manufacturer shines through in the Switch's many innovative aspects— most notably, that it's the only pontoon propelled by jet power, skimming the surface aboard three of Sea-Doo’s Polytec tubes. The Polytec tubes are made of the same lightweight and easy to repair material as some of their personal watercraft. At the helm, you'll find further influence in the controls, as its steering system closely resembles that of a PWC. The Switch further strays from traditional 'toons, but still embraces the pontooning culture of community in its innovative modular deck design. The floorplan can transform as owners' outing call for, with furniture and accessories the modular tile system. See 2024 Sea Doo Switch Updates to get more details on the model's initial introduction.

2025 Princecraft Vectra 21 RL

Looking for an affordably priced, highly-customizable pontoon? Princecraft’s Vectra 21 RL delivers, with prices ranging based upon location and chosen options, such as engine configurations, which range from 40 hp to 150 hp. The bottom line: starting MSRP is in the vicinity of $30,000, which is a serious bargain for a 2025 model year pontoon boat over 20' long.
No matter what your speed, you won’t feel as though you’re on a basic model. The helm may be rotomolded plastic, but it adds an acrylic top and molded dash panel, complete with lighted aircraft-style toggles and a 160-watt Bluetooth Jensen stereo. The Bimini is standard, as is the stainless steel four-step stern ladder for easy access to the water. A tow bar is included among the plentiful options for owners, leveling up this vessel's watersport's capability. A removable table with four built-in cup holders, a deluxe driver seat, and a safety railing are a few more options that truly allow captains to craft this vessel into their own.

2025 Premier 230 Sunsation Angler

Another lineup you'll want to check out in 2025 - if you enjoy fishing, that is - is the Premier Sunsation Angler. When the 23-footer was first unveiled two years ago it won a NMMA Innovation Award, and the expanded lineup now includes 21', 23', and 25' versions. These models feature front and rear angling stations with rod holders, tackle and tool holders, tackleboxes, and cup holders. The rear station also incorporates a livewell. Fishing chairs fore and aft are in the mix as well. All versions also include at least one full-size L-couch, and depending on which layout you opt for, up to three couches. One unique feature anglers will like is the "Open Water" swing-open panels, which open up and stay out of the way when it's time to land big fish. No other builder offers it, so for 2025 the Premier 230 Sunsation Angler remains a top pick.
